Edible Book Festival: Schedule and Rules

Edible Book Festival has been canceled.

University of the Cumberlands Library

9am-1pm :  Participants drop off entries at the library.  Participants will be contacted nearer the festival date on drop off procedures.

1pm: Viewing of entries opens

2:30pm:  Judging of festival entries 

3:00pm: Prizes will be handed out

Entries will be eaten starting immediately after the prizes are awarded!

These websites of Edible Book Festivals around the world may be helpful for inspiration:

1. All entries must be edible. 
2. All entries must be related to books either:
• shaped like a book
• inspired by the content of a book, i.e. characters, scenes, storylines, or text
3. Entries must not need any additional care like refrigeration during the festival.
4. Participants must bring entries between 9am and 1 PM on Monday, March 31st to the library.  Contact the library to enquire about alternate drop off times if necessary.
5. After drop off, all entries are relinquished by participants and will be photographed and eaten by festival participants
